Johnny Knoxville has separated from his wife Melanie.
The 'Jackass' star's representative Amanda Silverman confirmed the news to
Us Weekly magazine, saying: "They have separated."
Rumours were rife that Johnny and Melanie's marriage was under strain
following allegations of infidelity.
During filming for 'The Dukes Of Hazzard', there were rumours Johnny was
having an affair with his co-star Jessica Simpson, but this was denied by
both parties.
Despite the split, a source close to the couple is hoping they will give
their marriage another go.
The source said: "I really don't know if they will divorce. They have been
separated for a while. They just grew apart."
The couple - who married in 1995 - have a 10-year-old daughter called
Madison.
