Kaiser Chiefs lead singer Ricky Wilson apologised to Liam Gallagher for
being "rubbish".
The outspoken Oasis frontman previously branded the Kaiser Chiefs a "bad
Blur" and mocked them for wearing make-up.
When Ricky came face-to-face with the wild rocker he said sorry for the
state of his group, rather than get embroiled in a war of words.
The 'I Predict A Riot' singer told Britain's Guardian newspaper: "When we
met him, I ended up apologising - to Liam Gallagher! I said, 'Sorry we're so
rubbish.' "
Ricky claims the band's new album, 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob', the follow-up
to the hugely successful 'Employment' is about taking drugs and enjoying the
trappings of rock 'n' roll success.
He quipped: "Our new album is about being rich and famous and taking lots of
drugs, because that's what we do these days. I'm a big shot now."
