Emma Bunton said that her family used to shout her if she moaned about her weight but now she likes her body just the way it is.
Emma Bunton says her family hate her moaning about her weight.
Before falling pregnant, the 30-year-old singer admits she felt under
pressure to stay thin.
Emma said: "I've had times, especially during the Spice Girls days, when I've been called fat.
"It does hurt, but having a great family and normal, non-famous people
around me keeps me grounded.
"Luckily my mum, grandma and dad are always the first to shout me down if I
complain about putting on weight. And then I think, actually I'm healthy and
I like the way I look."
Emma recently announced she is three-months pregnant by her long-term
boyfriend Jade Jones.
The former Spice Girl is delighted to be expecting her first child.
She previously feared she wouldn't be able to conceive after being diagnosed
with endometriosis - a condition which causes the lining of the womb to come
away.
She said: "I am thrilled! Although I will probably have to hand over my Baby
Spice tag to someone else now."
