The final five acts up for the BRIT award for British Single have been
decided by the public.
The Feeling's 'Fill My Little World', Razorlight's 'America', Snow Patrol
with 'Chasing Cars', Take That's 'Patience' and Will Young's 'All Time Love', will go head-to-head for the prize at Wednesday's ceremony (14.02.07).
Acts who didn't make the cut include Corinne Bailey Rae, James Morrison and
Lily Allen.
Eleven acts were put forward as potential winners in the British Single
category. The final nominees were voted for by commercial radio listeners.
The winner will be decided by a live public vote for the first time ever in
the history of the BRITs.
The event will be aired on ITV1 from 8pm and viewers will be able to vote
for their favourite by texting.
Russell Brand will be hosting the 26th BRIT Awards.
Amy Winehouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers and Oasis are among the
acts confirmed to perform on the night.
