Ryan Philippe said that her daughter and son help him through his divorce from Reese Witherspoon.
Ryan Phillippe's daughter helped him through his divorce.
The actor says his seven-year-old daughter, Ava, helped him cope with the
breakdown of his marriage to Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon.
Ryan told People magazine: "I know it sounds pathetic - I'm a 32-year-old
guy but my seven-year-old daughter is getting me through the toughest time
in my life, and that's beautiful."
Ryan revealed the couple's three-year-old son Deacon has also helped to
cheer him up.
He said: "He's fun, every day he says something that makes me laugh, warms
my heart. It ain't easy. It's devastating but the bottom line is the focus
on the children, and they're doing amazingly well and that's really all that
matters."
Ryan and Reese, 30, separated last October after seven years of marriage,
citing irreconcilable differences.
It was reported that Ryan had been having an affair with 24-year-old
Australian actress Abbie Cornish.
Both Ryan and Abbie denied they were ever romantically involved.
