Jim Carrey said that he doesn't mind that people laughing at him since that was the business of being a celebrity.
Jim Carrey doesn't mind being a big joke - because it makes him this year's
Tom Cruise.
'The Number 23' star insists he is not bothered that people are laughing at
him, not with him.
Carrey told Time magazine: "Everyone gets to be the big joke for a year.
That's this business.
"Last year it was Tom Cruise. But you have to say to yourself, 'Wait a
minute, dude, that's not you.' "
The 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' star is planning to write an
autobiography to reveal his true self.
He said: "It will be more representative of who I am than anything I've ever
done.
"I feel like I know something. These thoughts make me feel like I'm wearing
gold shoes."
Carrey has been accused of being difficult to work with after it was
recently revealed he upset the cast and crew of 'The Number 23' by urinating
on set.
The outlandish actor has been branded "unpredictable" by co-workers from
several of his latest films due to his "bizarre behaviour and on-set
tantrums".
Director of 'Fun With Dick and Jane' Dean Parisot now calls the film 'Fun
With Jane' - because "dealing with Carrey proved so harrowing".
An executive from 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' said he
was "scary".
