Britney Partying in Marilyn-Monroe-Style, Donned A Blonde Wig

Britney Spears has been seen partying in a blonde wig. The troubled singer wore a cheap Marilyn Monroe-style hairpiece to cover her newly shaven head as she drank cocktails at the exclusive Polo Lounge, before going to a karaoke night in Los Angeles nightclub Roxy. Onlookers said the 25-year-old visited the toilets several times with friends but her good mood darkened when the DJ played one of her biggest hit singles.

A source revealed: "Britney was enjoying herself until the DJ put her song 'Hit Me Baby.' onto the karaoke machine. She ignored pleas to perform the song and, with a face like thunder, she stormed out." Meanwhile, Britney's former lover Justin Timberlake has reportedly gone to Hollywood to persuade her to seek help. A source revealed: "Justin is just about the only person Britney will listen to now. Her family and friends hope he can make her see sense and get help." Britney's mother Lynne is said to be looking after her two sons, 17-month-old Sean Preston and five-month-old Jayden James, in Britney's Malibu home.

The 'Toxic' singer's erratic behaviour has led Lynne to fear Britney may lose custody of her children to estranged husband Kevin Federline, 28. A source said: "Britney has called in her mother to make sure nobody can accuse her of neglecting her children. She is terrified that Kevin will take them." It has been reported Britney may consider drawing up papers to make Lynne a legal custodian of the boys, making it harder for Kevin to take them away in the immediate future. The singer sparked fears she is on the verge of a breakdown after shaving her head. She was seen crying in her limousine before entering Esther's Haircutting Salon in Tarazana, California, on Friday (16.02.07). After hairdressers refused to shave her head, Britney grabbed a pair of clippers and sheared off her locks herself. An hour later Britney went to the Body and Soul Tattoo parlour and had pink lips etched onto her wrist and a black, pink and white cross on her lower hip.
