Britney Spears is "doing great" in rehab, according to actor Daniel Baldwin.
Daniel, 46, claims he bumped into the troubled 'Toxic' singer at Malibu's
Promises rehab centre when he was leaving the facility after completing his
own treatment for drug addictions.
Daniel - the brother of Hollywood stars Alec, William and Stephen - told Us
Weekly magazine: "I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to
bring anything to her where she's at, I'd be happy to come see her.
"She's doing great, she looks great. She seemed like she was a little
fearful. I mean, she's a young girl - I have kids older than her. I think
that she knows that she needs some help, and God bless her. All we can do is
pray. That's what I want people to do - pray for her."
Daniel gave mum-of-two Britney, 25, his mobile number so she could keep in
touch, and told the star "don't drink, don't use".
He added: "It's really simple. One thing I mentioned to her is if you took a
look at how much effort you put into going out - at least for me - and using
and doing the things we do, compared to how much effort you need to put in
to stay sober, it's infinitesimal on a comparison basis."
Daniel - who was arrested in April on charges of being under the influence
and carrying cocaine paraphernalia - said he has now been sober for 97 days.
