Olivier Martinez is obsessed with wolves.
The French actor revealed he took on his latest role as a werewolf tribe
leader in gothic romance 'Blood And Chocolate' because he finds the animals
fascinating.
When asked why he agreed to take the part, he told Britain's OK! magazine:
"Honestly, the wolves. Of course, I was very happy to work with the team,
and I was really happy with the script and my part. But I had a thing for
wolves even before doing the movie."
The 42-year-old lothario - who recently split from long-term girlfriend
Kylie Minogue - explained he has a connection with wolves because he is
"part animal".
He added: "I have a natural feeling for wolves. We are all part animal.
We're bred on this earth, but we put ourselves above the animals because we
are all human beings and we have a great capacity for adaptation and
intelligence.
"Nowadays, when we say someone is an 'animal' it's insulting, but we don't
see that as a breed we have a superiority complex.
"So I don't think that I'm more important than a wolf."
