Sofia Coppola spends all day heating bottles since becoming a mother. The "Lost In Translation" director, who gave birth to daughter Romy in Paris last November, is finding motherhood "exciting" but hard work.
Sofia told People magazine: "It's a whole new experience. It's exciting. Right now I'm focusing on that. The baby is only three months old. It's a lot of heating bottles, so that's what I do all day."
The 35-year-old "Marie-Antoinette" director attended the New York screening of Mira Nair's latest film "The Namesake" with Romy's father - French singer Thomas Mars.
Sofia, who was previously married to director Spike Jonze, met Thomas when he recorded a song with the band Air for her 1999 movie "The Virgin Suicides". When asked if three-months of experience has turned her into the perfect mother, Sofia - daughter of director Francis Ford Coppola - said: "No, I don't think anyone has it down! It's definitely a new adventure."
