Cuba Gooding and Ray Liotta are Wanted Heroes

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ray Liotta are to star in a new movie together.

The two Hollywood stars have signed up for independent film "Hero Wanted", which focuses on a garbage man who stages a bank robbery so he can foil it and impress a female bank worker he is in love with.

However, the plan goes wrong and the aggrieved garbage man seeks revenge on the people who have double-crossed him.

Shooting on the movie, which is being produced by Millennium Films, begins in Bulgaria next month and will be directed by Brian Smrz.

It will be Smrz's directing debut, although he has worked on several films, including box office hits "Superman Returns" and "X-Men". It is not yet know if Gooding or Liotta will play the garbage man.
