Heather Mills accused McCartney's lawyer Fiona Shackleton, has made her divorce difficult so that she could fill her pockets, saying that Fiona once said swear words while she's in wheelchair.
has launched a vicious attack on estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney
's divorce lawyer.
The former model, who insists she still loves Paul, has accused lawyer Fiona Shackleton of making their divorce as difficult as possible. Heather, 39, branded Shackleton a "nightmare" and denied rumours of a £29 million settlement.
She fumed to US chat show host Larry King: "There's no settlement. His lawyer Miss Fiona Shackleton wants to drag it out as long as she can to fill her pockets. She's not a very nice person. She said some pretty mean-spirited things when I was in a wheelchair. I can 't say them because they are swear words. Paul and I still have a friendship. It's only his lawyers who are a nightmare."
Heather also dismissed allegations she is a gold-digger, insisting she would have been wealthier if she hadn't married Paul. She said: "I'm a lot less well off. I was a $30,000 to $50,000 an hour public speaker. I gave up so many opportunities to be the good wife and mother and to carry on my charity work. I had a much better quality of lifestyle before I married. And that's the whole joke about it all. I married because I was madly in love."
Heather revealed The Beatles
legend sent her a good luck card and flowers before her first performance on US TV show 'Dancing with the Stars'. She insists she will never speak badly of Paul, 64, but has accepted she needs to move on.
Heather, who has a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice, with Paul, said: "Paul is the father of my child and whatever he's done I can never speak badly of him. We'll have a relationship forever and I still love him. But you can love somebody and not be right for each other. You have to move on. It was like a death but that person is still around. We were madly in love."
