Angelina Jolie claimed that doing charity is all that she had to do and she is amazed how little fellow celebrities who do the same thing.
Angelina Jolie doesn't want to be the "Mother Teresa of Hollywood". The actress says her active involvement in charity work is something she "had to do" and can't understand why more Hollywood stars don't try to make a difference.
Angelina said: "It became clear to me I was an incredibly privileged Hollywood star and I had to so something against the screaming injustice on this planet. I don't want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood. I quite simply want to help where there is poverty and destitution. Am I the only one who thinks and acts like that?"
The 31-year-old brunette, who is a UN ambassador, insists celebrities should be free to say and do what they want without having to explain their actions. Angelina explained: "I believe that people in the public eye should be allowed to speak and act freely, without having to justify themselves every step of the way."
