David Hasselhoff is set to detail his "rough times" in a tell-all autobiography. The star feels ready to reflect on his global TV success and his personal battle with alcohol in a revealing memoir.
He told TV show 'Access Hollywood': "I've gone through some rough times, going through a divorce and things were like, you know, when you are on top of the world with 'Baywatch' and 'Knight Rider' and then things were starting to unravel. I didn't work for two years. I stopped drinking and I got my whole life together. And I thought, 'I'm going through some down time and have some scandal in my life so I'm thinking of writing a book.' "
Last week, a video showing a drunk Hasselhoff rolling around shirtless on a hotel room floor trying to eat a hamburger surfaced on the internet. The footage was filmed by his 16-year-old daughter Taylor-Ann, after her father asked her to video him drunk so he could "see what he is like". The emergence of the footage led to a Los Angeles judge suspending Hasselhoff's visitation rights to see daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley, 14.
