Sting Invests on Bulesque Club with David Bowie
Sting and David Bowie have both splashed money to invest on an exotic burlesque club in Little Italy.
and David Bowie are opening a burlesque club together. The rock stars have bought former New York Mafia haunt Little Charlie's Clam Bar in Little Italy and plan to launch an exotic striptease nightspot there this autumn.

Businessman Ivan Kane is also involved in the project and hopes to replicate the success of his chain of 20s-style burlesque clubs. The new club, which will reportedly cost $4 million to build, will be linked to Kane's Forty Deuce venues in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Kane said: "It's a done deal, they are the two main partners."

Los Angeles' Forty Deuce has previously attracted a host of celebrities including , , Sir and . The clubs feature live jazz bands and exotic dancers who strip on stage. The performers protect their modesty using feather boas, fans and jewel-encrusted underwear.

Spokespeople for Sting, 55, and Bowie, 60, have confirmed their involvement in the burlesque club. The singers are not expected to manage the nightspot, but will act solely as investors.
