The acid tongue American Idol judge Simon Cowell was left speechless after hearing that people from his past such as Oprah Winfrey and Il Divo will come to honor him.
Simon Cowell is set to be honoured in an episode of UK TV show 'This Is Your Life'. Simon was surprised by veteran news reader Sir Trevor McDonald, who was carrying the programme's famous red book chronicling his life, during the 'American Idol' final this week.
Simon, famed for his scathing criticisms of pop hopefuls, was for once left speechless. Sir Trevor, who received a big hug from Simon, will present the show. The one-off episode is scheduled to be shown on UK TV on June 2 - when viewers will see Simon reunited with various faces from his past.
It is not yet known if pop manager Louis Walsh and TV presenter Kate Thorton will appear after being axed from Simon's UK talent show 'The X Factor'. Fellow 'The X Factor' judge

Leona Lewis, 22, and
