While dedicating a song to his soon-to-be-bride, Rod Stewart revealed that he will be a married man in two weeks time.
Rod Stewart is to marry fiancée Penny Lancaster in just two weeks. The Scottish rocker performed at a glitzy reception attended by Britain's Queen Elizabeth last night (04.06.07), where he dedicated his classic hit 'The Way You Look Tonight' to Penny, before revealing the date of their big day.
Rod said: "This is dedicated to Penny. We're getting married in two weeks." Rod and former model Penny were attending a charity fundraiser in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Penny, 36, and Rod, 62, started dating soon after they first met in 1998, while the singer was going through a public separation from his second wife, Rachel Hunter. Rod and Penny - who have a 19-month-old son, Alastair - got engaged in 2005, but Rod's divorce from Rachel was not finalised until last year.
