Will Smith talked some sense to Bruce Willis to keep him from confronting Ashton Kutcher back when the Punk'd star still dating Demi Moore.
Bruce Willis has thanked
Will Smith for talking him out of confronting
Ashton Kutcher. The '
Live Free or Die Hard' action star confessed he flew into a jealous rage when he first discovered his ex-wife
Demi Moore was dating toyboy Ashton.
Luckily, his actor friend Will urged him to see sense for the sake of the couple's three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. The 52-year-old actor told Playboy magazine: "During some very dark hours he talked to me about it. He said, 'Dude, you've got to do whatever it takes to get the kids and all the spouses or the girlfriend together. You've got to show your kids it's OK.' It was like a light went on. Ding. So Will, thanks. And thanks for all those good movies you're making."
Demi - whose marriage to Bruce ended in 2000 after almost 13 years - first started dating 'Punk'd' star Ashton, 29, in 2003. Despite Bruce's initial reservations, he now has a close relationship with his ex-wife's new love. 'The Sixth Sense' star even gave Ashton his full blessing when he wed Demi, 44, in September 2005, and also attended the ceremony.
