Jack White says redheads are more interesting than other women. The White Stripes rocker - who is married to flame-haired ex-supermodel Karen Elson - has declared his band's new album, 'Icky Thump', is a tribute to redheads.
Jack told GQ magazine: "Is this our ginger-loving record? Yeah! They're the most interesting to me. I'm always curious about redheads. There is something different about them. Some cultures, such as the orient, fear them. It's interesting what they find so shocking."
The 'My Doorbell' singer has also revealed he has no plans to move to Britain with his Lancashire-born wife, because he has issues with the plumbing. He said: "We won't be moving here because the UK still hasn't discovered the art of heating and cooling! As Brendan Benson said to me on the last The Raconteurs tour, 'England is a country where you still have two separate faucets for hot and cold.' But you turn the hot and, in three seconds, it's boiling water - so you pretty much have a three-second window to wash your hands."
