There are things that stop Yoko Ono from writing an autobiography and one of them is to hurt people within The Beatles' circle.
Yoko Ono is reluctant to write her autobiography because she is worried it will hurt people close to
The Beatles. The 74-year-old singer - the widow of murdered former Beatle
John Lennon - admits she will have to tread carefully with her memoirs, to avoid upsetting the Fab Four's children and families.
She said: "I want to write my autobiography one day, but still don't have the time. Also, there are things that I can't write because it may hurt someone. I think about how it might hurt (their) children, and I don't want to do that."
Yoko also fears the wrath of fans who still blame her for the break-up of the group in 1969. She insists John's bandmates,
Ringo Starr, Sir
Paul McCartney and the late
George Harrison sent her statements absolving her from any blame in their split.
Yoko also revealed she considered leaving her apartment in New York's Dakota building after John was shot outside the building in 1980. However, she decided to stay because the couple's son Sean, who was five at the time of his father's death, was attached to the home.
