Take That are being hotly-tipped to win an Oscar. The boy band - who reformed last year after a 10-year break - have recorded the theme tune, 'Rule The World', for new Robert De Niro movie 'Stardust' and are now the favourites to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song at next year's ceremony.
A source told Britain's the Sun newspaper: "It's brilliant and must be in with an excellent chance of the Best Original Song Oscar. It is the main theme and also drops in throughout the film, so it really leaves its mark on the movie and its viewers. The Take That comeback has gone better than anyone could have expected, just imagine if they added an Oscar to their long list of numbers ones. It would be the icing on the cake."
'Rule The World' was produced by the Grammy award-winning John Shank and sees Gary Barlow on lead vocals with bandmates Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen providing the harmonies.
Fantasy adventure 'Stardust' - which is directed by Matthew Vaughn and also stars Sienna Miller, Claire Danes, Ian McKellen and Ricky Gervais is expected to be a worldwide hit.
