He told InStyle magazine: "It was a little intimidating when I started thinking about the fact that she has acted opposite some of the best actors of a generation. Like, 'Oh man, I hope she's not incredibly bummed that I'm not

Tom Hanks. But it's great when you finish a scene and you feel as though you're holding your own."
Meanwhile, Adam is keen to grow a beard. The handsome actor was banned from growing facial hair while filming hit US TV show 'The O.C.' and now the teen series is over, he wants to take advantage. He revealed: "I'm going to grow the best beard I can. I've had to shave everyday for four years and I've never been more excited not to shave – I've dreamt about this. Granted, it'll be a pretty pathetic beard, but I'm going to give it my best shot."
