Boy George Keen on Taking Police Job
Boy George wants to become a policeman. The 'Karma Chameleon' singer - who was arrested in 2005 on suspicion of cocaine possession - has revealed he took a liking to the officers who arrested him and is considering joining their ranks.

According to website MSNBC, George said on a recent trip to Brazil: "Being arrested in America is terrible. I don't wish it to anyone. At first I was sad and scared, but, within time, the police gave me support and tranquillity. I ended up getting close to them, maybe it will be my next job!"

The 46-year-old pop star was taken into custody after telephoning police to report a burglary at his New York apartment. Upon their arrival, officers found that George's home had not been broken into, but discovered he had been using drugs and found a large amount of cocaine in the apartment.

He received a community service sentence for wasting police time and had to work as a garbage man on the streets of New York last August. George was arrested again in April this year in London for allegedly imprisoning and assaulting a Norwegian man he invited to his flat.
