Orlando Bloom was hitting on Amy Nuttall and was close to tie a bond with the British actress when she ended the conversation and left feeling nothing.
Orlando Bloom was left "crestfallen" after being romantically snubbed by a British actress. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor, who was at the launch of his theater debut in 'Celebration', desperately tried to flirt with former 'Emmerdale' star Amy Nuttall - but she didn't seem to be interested.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "There was an array of celebrities there including Amy. She looked luscious in a green T-shirt and white jeans. Orlando seemed bowled over by her. They both chatted about acting and it looked as though Orlando was in with a chance. But suddenly Amy realized the time and headed off, leaving Orlando looking crestfallen."
Orlando hasn't been in a steady relationship since splitting from actress
Kate Bosworth late last year. The 30-year-old has been romantically linked to a series of Hollywood beauties, including
Penelope Cruz,
Uma Thurman,
Sienna Miller,
Kirsten Dunst and
Jessica Biel.
Meanwhile, Orlando has denied he will strip for his new theater role. The actor has laughed off reports he is set to follow in
Daniel Radcliffe's footsteps and bare all on stage. Orlando said: "I heard what people are saying about me getting naked for the role. But you've read the play. Where would I possibly get my clothes off in it? It's bizarre."
