Penny Lancaster has vowed never to remarry once Rod Stewart dies. The 36-year-old model tied the knot with the 62-year-old rocker in Italy last month and has revealed she changed her wedding vows because she didn't want to say "'til death us do part".
Penny told Hello magazine: "Rod and I really did choose tradition, but where the classic vows talk of love 'til death us do part', well I didn't think I could say that with meaning because even if one of us were to die, the love would certainly go on. We just changed the words to 'love forever'. I managed not to cry while Rod was making his vows, but a couple of my own words were a bit quivery and one tear fell before I could pull myself together and restore the Penny smile! I had this big grin of joy all day!"
Rod and Penny have an 18-month-old son Alastair together. The 'We Are Sailing singer has been married twice before and has six other children by four different women.
