Mel B Considers Singing Lesson an Insult Melanie Brown was allegedly furious after being told to have singing lessons by manager Simon Fuller. The girl group - also comprising of s, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie C - were reportedly ordered to have voice training before their reunion tour.

Mel apparently took the advice as an insult, and is said to have told Simon: "I don't need lessons. I can sing, thank you very much."

A source told Closer magazine: "The girls have been told by Simon that they need to get their voices back in training and should start having singing lessons as soon as possible. But Mel C is furious as she thinks her voice is already in shape. Simon thinks she needs to re-familiarize herself with the lyrics and the pop style to make the comeback work. Mel feels really insulted but Simon has insisted on it. They are all going to vocal coaching because they have lost the art of singing in harmony. The rest of the band are fine with getting some voice coaching and can't understand why Mel is kicking off about it."

The band kick-off their world reunion tour in December in Canada.
