Keith Richards has been left upset his The Rolling Stones bandmate Ron Wood is releasing his autobiography before him. Ronnie, 60, has been working furiously on his memoirs, entitled 'Ronnie', and the tome is due to be published on October 12.
Keith recently signed a £3.6 million deal with publishers Little, Brown and Company to pen his life story but the book is not expected to hit shops until 2010, and Keith isn't happy his fellow guitarist beat him to the punch. Ronnie told The Bookseller magazine: "We've just agreed to keep it at arm's length from each other."
The two wild musicians have had a string of bust-ups during their time in The Stones. Keith once infamously held a knife to Ronnie's throat during a drunken argument, and the pair also once held loaded guns to each other's heads at the height of their drug-taking.
Ronnie's autobiography is the first to be released by any members of the Rolling Stones and will detail his humble beginnings growing up on a working class council estate in London to becoming one of the most famous musicians in the world. It will detail his hellraising exploits with various bands including, The Jeff Beck Group, The Faces and The Small Faces.
