I, Robot' star gave birth to John Edward Thomas Moynahan in Los Angeles on August 22. Bridget's representative, Christina Papadopoulos, said: "She is thankful for a healthy baby and is excited about being a mother."
The baby's father, New England Patriots' quarterback
Tom Brady, was present for the birth despite their three-year relationship coming to an end last December. Papadopoulos added: "She was very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth and spend a few days with their new child."
Insiders say the couple are arguing about the baby's surname. The 'Coyote Ugly' actress' announcement that his name is John Moynahan, is rumored to be seen as a snub against Tom.
At the New England Patriots match against the Carolina Panthers on August 24, announcers congratulated him and told the crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina, the boy was named Jonathan Brady. The 30-year-old footballer is now dating Brazilian supermodel
Gisele Bundchen.
