Bobby Brown Lived in Car to Pay for Whitney Houston's Hotel

Bobby Brown is disappointed that ex-wife Whitney Houston does not allow him to see their daughter Bobby Kristina saying that he always took care both of them.

Bobby Brown claims he was forced to live in his car while Whitney Houston was in rehab. The R'n'B singer filed legal papers last month complaining his ex-wife is not complying with the custody agreement they have for 14-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.

Bobby, 38, states in the newly released papers: "Since Whitney has been awarded sole legal and physical custody of Bobbi Kris, she has attempted to eliminate me from Bobbi Kris' life. I did all I could to see my daughter. I also paid approximately $10,000 for Whitney and Bobbi Kris to live in a nice hotel while Whitney was going through rehab. I basically lived out of my car. I have not seen or spoken to my daughter since early June and I have no prospect of speaking to her or seeing her any time soon due to Whitney's actions."

Despite recent public appearances together with their daughter since their divorce was finalized, relations between the couple are clearly strained. Whitney, 44, states in her latest court declaration: "Bobby has been almost totally uninvolved in taking care of Bobbi Kris. I believe Bobby is going to try to get child or spousal support from me. Bobby is fully capable of working and earning substantial sums of money if he would control his personal behavior. We have a daughter together and I would like him to be involved in her life. Frankly, I needed to be divorced from him so that I could get my life back on track. From the time I moved to California in April 2006 until now, Bobby and I have remained friendly toward each other."

Bobby sued Whitney for spousal support, child support and joint custody of their daughter in May this year. Their divorce was finalized in April with full custody of Bobbi Kristina granted to Whitney and visitation rights to Bobby. The couple have continued to put on a united front for their daughter and earlier this month were seen having dinner at Joe's Crab Shack in Georgia.
