Sara Cox is pregnant. The Radio 1 DJ announced live on air that she is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Ben Cyzer, during her afternoon show yesterday (16.09.07).
She said: "I'm ridiculously happy to tell you I'm pregnant. Me and my lovely other half Ben are completely over the moon and feel incredibly blessed."
The 32-year-old presenter, who already has a three-year-old daughter Lola, with ex-husband DJ Jon Carter, moved into a new north London home with 31-year-old advertising executive Ben earlier this year.
She previously gushed about the relationship: "I am very happy and smug and pleased and loved. I have a really good balance in my life. I have a lot of support and a brilliant other half. Me and Ben live together in our new, lovely home. He's just brilliant - I go all pink and girlie when I think about him."
Despite being blissfully happy, Sara - who split from Carter in 2005 after four years of marriage and was also previously engaged to Prodigy dancer Leeroy Thornhill - insists she has no plans to marry again. She said: "I am never getting married. Maybe when we are 60 I might get married and have a little party at the old folks' home - but no."
