Sharon Osbourne is auctioning the quad bike that nearly killed her husband Ozzy Osbourne. The 58-year-old Black Sabbath rocker was left in a coma for eight days when he crashed the 350cc Banshee quad bike at his Buckinghamshire mansion in 2003.
The bike - which has a dented front from the crash - is expected to feetch 1,500 pounds in the auction which also includes 600 pieces of jewelery, dresses, paintings and furniture from the controversial family's house. However, Ozzy can't understand why 'X Factor' judge Sharon is selling some of his most prized possessions. He said: "I don't know why we're selling everything, because I want to keep it all. Sharon keeps telling me that we have to, or otherwise our house will f***ing explode!"
The auction is being organized by Julien's Auctions, and will be held in Beverly Hills' Gibson Guitar Showroom on November 30 and December 1. Bids can be placed over the phone, on the internet or in person. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation - which Sharon set up after battling the disease herself.
