Apparently hung over, Amy Winehouse didn't come to her new video shoot costing her record company thousands of pounds.
Amy Winehouse cost her record company 70,000 pounds after failing to turn up for a video shoot. The troubled singer was scheduled to record a promo for her new single 'Love Is A Losing Game' at London's Pinewood Studios on Tuesday (06.11.07) but didn't show because she was recovering from a heavy night of drinking.
A source said: "The crew waited from 8am until 11pm but she didn't show. Her management were running round trying to get hold of her, they even sent a car round to her place in Camden. When they finally spoke to her at around 7pm she said that she was still at home with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil."
Amy's selfish actions left most of the crew fuming and adamant that they would not work with the wayward star again. The source added: "The crew were not impressed. The team have never known an
artist fail to turn up without making some sort of excuse. She really let a lot of people down, it was not cool."
Amy's excuse for not going was because she was too "exhausted" after finishing her grueling European tour. Another source said: "The timing of the video shoot so soon after all her traveling around Europe wasn't the best."
Amy has a history of no shows. In August, the 24-year-old star postponed her North America tour and called off several European dates to allow her time to recover after collapsing from a drugs overdose earlier that month. In July, Amy upset fans when she was seen drinking hours after pulling out of a Liverpool show.
