Bob Dylan is reportedly planning to have a collaboration with the frontman of The White Stripes, Jack White. Prior to the collaboration plan, the two rockers have met and worked together not only on stage, but also in recording. The last time they met, White was working on recording the unfinished Hank Williams songs in which Dylan was the coordinator for the project.
The bassist from Steppin' In It, Dominic Suchyta, who is also an old friend of White, commented on the possibility by saying, "I wouldn't put it past either of them. They seem to be cut from the same cloth, sort of misplaced Midwestern brothers. I do know Jack has joined him on stage quite a bit and joined him for his radio show. When we were high school teenagers, we recorded quite a few Dylan tunes on our old four-track reel machine."
Last month, The White Stripes promised their fans that they will add new tunes to their songs and make new music video. And, just last Thursday (15.11.07), the rock band announced in their website that they will work with Beck, the singer of 'Loser'.
