Britney Spears' new music video 'Do Something' was banned from viewing in France. Last week, Louis Vuitton was reported to win the lawsuit in which they claimed that the troubled pop-star's video showed a pink Vuitton pattern on the dashboard.
Following the Vuitton's victory, Sony BMG and MTV Online was ordered to stop broadcasting and promoting the video. The two companies were also fined 117,000 dollars for each broadcast or promotion of 'Do Something' music video. Although Sony BMG and MTV were said to be guilty, Britney wasn't being charged at all for her video.
It was also reported that as of Monday (19.11.07), the video can still be seen on YouTube and other music website in France. But, on some web sites, the links connecting to the video led to a blank screen or a notice that the video is no longer available.
It seems that controversies follow Britney Spears everywhere she goes. Just last Friday (16.11.07), she was reported to be banned from driving with her two sons inside the car. And, few days prior her new driving regulation, she was caught on camera driving over a paparazzo's foot.
