Melanie C Holds Back Tears for Spice Girls

Melanie C almost burst into tears during the Spice Girls comeback performance. The Liverpool-born singer has confessed she was completely overwhelmed to be on stage with bandmates Victoria Adams, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell again at last week's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Mel - who last performed with all four girls nine years ago - said: "It was well scary! The crowd were cheering so loudly when we came on stage that I really had to try and hold back the tears. My legs went all stiff at one point too, and if I hadn't been standing next to Emma, I would have fallen over - not a good look!"

Despite her emotional first night, the singer - also known as Sporty Spice - insists she is incredibly excited about their upcoming world tour, which starts on December 2 in Vancouver, Canada. Mel added: "Things are getting really exciting now as we get closer to the first concert. We've started running the show and after this tour I reckon we'll all be fit enough to run a marathon. It's hardcore, even for Sporty Spice!"
