Reported to be expecting his first baby earlier this week (20.11.07), Timbaland has officially became a father a couple of days ago.
Timbaland has become a father. The hip-hop super-producer's publicist Monique Idlett has given birth to a baby girl, and the happy couple have announced their engagement. A source said: "They welcomed a baby girl into the world a couple of days ago. They're both really happy together. They've known each other for years."
Timbaland had been secretly dating Idlett for two years and the 36-year-old rap mogul - real name Timothy Mosley - proposed at their baby shower last month. The couple - neither of whom have been married before - are planning to tie the knot next year.
Reports that Timbaland was expecting a baby with a woman who works for his record label Mosley Music Group only surfaced at the beginning of the week. It was originally claimed the pair were not together.
