Rumored to have his sex tape leaked in the digital world, Pete Wentz states that the tape is actually a part of his indie movie 'Goodnight Moon'.
'The Pete Wentz Sex Tape' turned out to be a scene from a short movie. The raunchy YouTube video is actually a part of indie movie, Goodnight Moon, in which the Fall Out Boy's guitarist was having a sex scene with his co-star, Bonnie Muirhead.
To clear the misunderstanding, the rocker, who broke his ankle at Voodoo Music Experience festival last month, posted a message on his band's website, "Just wanted to put the word out on the streets/the internet. there is no pete wentz sex tape in existence. about a year and a half ago i took part in an indie gore/horror short film as a favor to my friend nathan- called goodnight moon. either way im not into being an actor or having a sex tape either sooooooooo, hopefully u can deal with it...."
In reality, the 28-year-old Wentz is romantically involved with pop rock singer, Ashley Simpson. Perhaps, it was caused by their relationship that some people reportedly attempted to pass the footage as a sex tape of the lovers.
On a different side of the story, Wentz's band have officially apologized to Maurice Sendak, the Where the Wild Things Are's author for using the books' characters without his permission. Previously, Fall Out Boy were reportedly using characters from the book as inspiration for images on their tour T-shirts and also using the characters in a short film shown in their 'Young Wild Thing' concert without the author's permission. In their website, they wrote, "We have great respect and affection for his book and it was our intent only to pay homage to it, not to infringe any rights."
