Whitney Houston has confirmed the rumor of her having a one-night-only concert. Press release reported that she is indeed going to have a spectacular comeback performance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 1, 2007. The 'Exhale' singer is also expected to sing songs from her 'Ultimate Collection' album, released on October 29, 2007.
Recently, the singer, who once play alongside Kevin Costner in hit movie 'The Bodyguard', was reportedly working on her latest album. It is rumored that the recording will feature many other artists, such as Black Eyed Peas' %will.i.am%, R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, and John Legend. This album will be Houston first recorded album in four years after 'One Wish: The Holiday Album'.
Prior to the concert rumor, Houston was often reported for her personal problems with drugs for which she underwent rehab twice in 2005 and in 2006, and for her reportedly abusive ex-husband, Bobby Brown. In September 2006, Houston finally filed for legal separation from her husband of 14 years. Less than a year later, the separation was officially legalized on April 2007 and Houston gets the custody of their 14-year-old daughter.
