Brandon Routh Tied the Knot

On Saturday (24.11.07), the 'Superman Returns' star, Brandon Routh, married his long-term girlfriend Courtney Ford. The nuptial ceremony was held at the 3000-acre El Capitan Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. People.com reported that Ford was wearing sheath dress with Chantilly lace and platinum beading designed by Junko Yoshioka, while Routh wore a cashmere suit by Looysen Fine Clothing.

Aside from the beautiful dress, the bride also wore pave-diamond earrings made by Neil Lane to match her diamond sparkler engagement ring, which is also made by Neil Lane. Meanwhile, the place in which Routh and his 150 guests celebrated his wedding day is reportedly belongs to the producer of 'Superman Returns', Jon Peters.

The couple met four years ago at Lucky Strike bowling alley in Hollywood. Last January, Routh said to People that he was working as a bartender at the place where his future bride attended her brother's wedding rehearsal dinner. In summer 2006, Routh was reported to get down in his knees while he was promoting his 'Superman' movie in Glastonbury, England. But, despite being excited with their engagement, the lovers managed to tone down the news until the 'Superman Returns' promotion tour was done.

Routh garnered international stardom when he starred as the famous man-of steel, Superman in the 2006 'Superman' movie installment. And, in 2009, he is expected once again to be seen alongside Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey for another 'Superman' project, entitled 'Superman: The Man of Steel'.
