Wanting to celebrate her birthday at home and with hometown friends, the 'Hannah Montana' star commemorated her 15th birthday in front of 15,000 audience on her 'Best of Both Worlds' concert.
Celebrating birthday could be pretty amazing for the Disney's latest star,
Miley Cyrus. On her sold out 'Best of Both Worlds' concert in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday (23.11.07), the 'Hannah Montana' leading lady celebrated her 15th birthday with her 15,000 hometown friends. The unique birthday celebration was reportedly Miley' idea.
People.com reported that toward the end of the show, Miley said to the gathered crowd, "I'll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, 'Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?' The only thing that I had to say was, 'I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys.' "
She then added, "The reason that I do what I do is for all of you guys. Anyone from a small town can go out there and live their dream, and so to be here with you guys tonight on my birthday is amazing." Then, the crowd serenaded the star with 'Happy Birthday', complete with pyrotechnic displays and a cake delivered on-stage.
Supposedly, the concert was drawn to an end when Miley and her opening act, The Jonas Brother, took a bow. But, shortly after that, the 'Who Said' singer walked back to the stage saying, "I'd like to bring out my best friend that just about says it all my daddy." Following her announcement, her father,
Billy Ray Cyrus came out and accompanied Miley singing their trademark duet 'Ready, Set, Don't Go'. Ending the song, her father then hugged her and also wishing her a happy birthday in front of the gathered crowd.
