A new member of the Usher's family has arrived. On Monday (26.11.07) night at 9:30 p.m., a baby boy weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces was born at an Atlanta hospital to the proud parents, Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster.
The baby would probably be named after the Grammy winning R 'n' B singer since last August on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he revealed that he planned to share his name with his baby if the baby were male. He said, as quoted, "If it's a boy, I'm going to name him Usher," he said. "I'm hoping to name him that. I've been playing with a few names. I'm the fourth: Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I'll change the middle name."
It was reported that on Tuesday, the singer accompanied his wife and child in the hospital and on Wednesday, they are expected to return to their home. The baby is Usher's first child and Foster's fourth.
Earlier this year, the pair announced their engagement and planned to get married in July. But, the July wedding was called off since Foster was reported to have problem with her pregnancy. Usher finally tied the knot with his baby mother in a private ceremony on August 3 in his lawyer's office and later on September 1, the newlywed couple held the grand ceremony in Atlanta.
