Pregnant Christina Aguilera Posed Nude in Marie Claire

On the January issue of Marie Claire magazine, the 'Dirrty' singer displays her pregnant body and talks about her unexpected pregnancy.

Obviously happy with her baby bump, Christina Aguilera posed naked for Marie Claire magazine. In the cover of Marie Claire's January issue which available on the newsstands on December 11, the pregnant singer can be seen posing with nothing but a cropped jacket, hoop earrings and a ring.

In the interview with the magazine, Aguilera revealed that she and her husband, Jordan Bratman, actually planned to have their first baby after her 'Back to Basics' tour. She stated, "We were planning on starting to try after the tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn't know how much time it would take. You've heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here ... I'm like, 'Oh my god, can you believe it just happened?'"

After learning that she is pregnant, the wife of the music marketing executive said that she took extra precautions, including wearing heart monitor during performances. "There are so many things that could go wrong - somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way ... I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show," said the 'Beautiful' singer.

Regarding her being secretive about the pregnancy, Aguilera said that she didn't want to make her fans felt uncomfortable whenever she is on-stage performing. Still, she confessed that she made sure that her band and her dancer know about it. Then, she also added, "Because I hadn't said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that's not the case at all. I just wasn't commenting. I'm not being like, 'Hey everybody, I'm pregnant!' I'm not that girl."

By posing naked in Marie Claire, Aguilera joins the list of pregnant celebrities who bare all in the magazine, including Demi Moore who appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair in August 1991, and Britney Spears on Harper's Bazaar in June 2006. Earlier this week, Aguilera was also chosen as one of the Maxim Magazine's 9 Hottest Pregnant Woman alongside Halle Berry, Heidi Klum, and Brooke Burke.
