Kevin Federline Nailed Number 7 in Details' Most Influential Men

Having the custody of his kids brings Kevin Federline a good luck charm as he was named number seven in the List of 50 Most Influential Men Under 45 made by Details Magazine.

Britney Spears ex-husband, Kevin Federline, was chosen to be number seven in Details Magazine's List of 50 Most Influential Men Under 45. In the magazine's 'Power & Influential' issue, the man known as K Fed managed to nail the cover shot and was listed under the predicate of 'The Good Father'. He shared the spot with Anna Nicole Smith's baby father, Larry Birkhead.

Concerning the choosing of the two men, the magazine noted down, "Meet America's new parental role models. We all expected Kevin Federline and Larry Birkhead to crash and burn as fathers. Instead, by being more visible presences in their children's lives than many Hollywood A-listers, they emerged as unlikely candidates for Dad of Year. The New Dad, as represented by Kevin and Birkhead, is involved. He trucks the kids to the supermarket, decorates their bedrooms, and even lets them dictate the direction of his career."

To Us Magazine, Dan Peres, Details' editor-in-chief, complimented the rapper by saying, "Here is the person who people think of as this universal joke, who has oddly emerged as father of the year. The kids would go running to him and were very warm and very well behaved."

Meanwhile, about his being chosen as the model father, Federline responded, "To be a father is . . . everything. I mean, to me, it's the best thing in my life. I'd actually like to play somebody other than a bad guy or an ass." He then added, "My TVs are pretty much G-rated right now. Anything from SpongeBob to Finding Nemo, and you know, I'm still trying to decide which one I like more."
