On Wednesday (28.11.07), Los Angeles judge ruled the permission to tape Lindsay Lohan while she is making her testimonial in the court on December 3, 2007.
On December 3,
Lindsay Lohan will give her deposition regarding her car crash lawsuit in front of camera. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, Michael Stern is giving out permission to tape the testimonial of the '
Dare to Love Me' star on Wednesday (28.11.07). The judge's decision came out despite the effort of the starlet's lawyer to prevent the taping.
Earlier this month, the young star's legal team filed a motion to ban the existence of camera inside the court. Her lawyer, David J. Ozeran, claimed, "If a single picture of Ms. Lohan can sell for thousands of dollars, a videotape of the deposition will undoubtedly sell for tens of thousands of dollars, or more." He also added that the real motive behind the taping was to irritate and gain advantages from the troubled star.
Following her car crash on October 5, 2005, Lohan was sued by Raymond Ortega, whose van had been crashed by Lohan's Mercedes-Benz. In the lawsuit, Ortega claimed that the '
Just My Luck' star was drunk and distracted by paparazzi at the time of accident, and he was expecting to get 200,000 dollars for his damages.
Last month, Lohan sued the busboy for 75,000 dollars when the California Highway Patrol found that the actress wasn't drunk at the time. Lohan also fired back at Ortega claiming that he was making an illegal U-turn causing the crash to happen.
