Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen are expected to gain more profit from their New York apartment. It was reported that the Dualstar moguls are selling their 12-room Greenwich Village property for the prize of 11.9 million dollars.
The New York Observer reported that in December 2004, the famous twins bought the property for 7.3 million dollars. Hence if the nearly 6,000 square feet condo, which exaggerated Hudson River views, is sold for the prize they put, the 'Full House' stars will gain a bit less than 5 million dollars in profit.
As part of the marketing of the place, Charlotte Van Doren, the Stribling & Associates vice president, mentioned that the sisters have helped designed the main feature of the luxurious apartment, which is the 53 feet-long entertainment place with a glass-enclosed fireplace right in the middle. She explained, "The sellers bought four properties from the developer pre-construction and designed their own floor plan in collaboration with the developer."
Prior to the selling, the Olsen sisters have been renting the five-bedroom penthouse for 35,000 a month. Van Doren confirmed the information by stating, "The apartment has been rented, and has been continually rented since then."
