Following the footstep of Salma Hayek and Isla Fisher who introduced their baby to media spotlight last month, Milla Jovovich posted her baby girl's picture for the first time on her official website on December 2, 2007. In the site, the 'Resident Evil' star also gave reasoning of her baby's name, Ever Gabo.
The Hollywood actress explained, "the name Ever is a scottish boy's name, Paul has scottish blood in him (not to mention two tartans in his family!) so we wanted to give her a name that reflected her 'celtic' roots, while her middle name Gabo -pronounced 'Gabeau'- is a mixture of my parents names! the first two letters are after my mom's first name, Galina and the last two letters are after my dad's first name Bogie!"
Jovovich gave birth to her daughter, Ever, last month (03.12.07) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. Ever is Jovovich's first child from fiancee Paul Anderson, the producer of 'Resident Evil' franchise. Previously, the 31-year-old actress was married to Shawn Andrews in 1992, and to Luc Benson, the director of 'The Fifth Element' from 1997 to 1999.
