The numbers of Spears-associated items' sales surpassed Paris Hilton's. Access Hollywood reported that eBay sold only a bit more than 27,000 items related to the Hollywood socialite. Still, the two scandalmongers had several things in common. First, their fragrances were the most popular items on the site. Then, they both beat Lindsay Lohan's fame in eBay as the name of the 'Parent Trap' star only helped to sold 8,099 items.
Ironically, despite soaring above her rivals, Spears was still outnumbered by the selling of the items related to Barry Bonds, the famous Major League Baseball outfielder. He sold 145,497 related items, including a grilled-cheese sandwich and his claimed 756th home-run ball. Meanwhile, on the action-figure department, it was reported that 'Transformer' sold 97,517 items more than 'Harry Potter'.
