Another A-lister has become the victim of housebreaking. According to reports, the Hollywood home of Charlize Theron has been robbed on Saturday (08.12.07).
On Monday (10.12.07), the LAPD confirmed the news through their media relations officer Ana Aguirre. To E! News, Aguirre said, "We have been able to confirm we are in fact handling an investigation that happened at her home. The home was secured on the 6th, and it was discovered it was broken into on the 8th."
At the same occasion, the police also stated, "There were no suspects seen by any of the neighbors. The property that was taken, if any, is unknown at this time." They didn't give further details whether the 'North Country' star was at her home when the criminal act happened.
The South African star who won Oscar for her performance in 'Monster' wasn't the first prey of the professional burglars. Police has reported that there were 50 robberies that had happened in the upscale housing, including Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Last February, the Hollywood Hills mansion of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill was also raided by burglars stealing away an unspecified amount of money. The guitarist of Duran Duran, John Taylor and the basketball player from L.A. Clippers, Cuttino Mobley, were also the victims of the crime.
