Drugs Cocktail Caused the Death of Anna Nicole Smith' SonThe cause of Daniel Smith's death has been determined. According to reports, on Monday (10.12.07), Dr. Govinda Raju, a pathologist, revealed that 's 20-year-old son died because of a combination of methadone and antidepressants Zoloft and Lexapro, which turned lethal in about 5 hours.

In his testimony, Raju also stated that Daniel had five other drugs in his system, including two drugs from the medical personnel who tried to revive him. Regarding the bruises on Daniel's back and shoulders, the man who performed the official autopsy on Daniel believed that those might have been caused by the medics as they attempted to revive the young man.

Daniel died on September 10, 2006 in the Bahamas when he visited his mother who had just given birth to his sister, Dannielynn, two days before. Ironically, less than six month after his death, Anna Nicole also stunned the world as she died of accidental drug overdose. The former playboy playmate died at the age of 39 on February 8, 2007.
