Jessica Alba is indeed pregnant. Through her representative, the 26-year-old actress confirmed that she is expecting her first child from boyfriend, Cash Warren. To People on Wednesday (12.12.07), Brad Cafarelli, Alba's representative, said, "I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer."
Stuff.co.nz reported that a source close to Alba said, "Jessica was really jealous that all her friends were settling down and getting pregnant, so she is thrilled she has joined the club now. She feels like she is ready to be a mum, and knows she and Cash will make great parents."
Earlier, it was reported that the 'Awake' star has noted that she will take an-eight-month break from shooting without giving her reasons, saying only, "I've worked the last two and a half years without stopping. This is the time to do it."
Prior to the pregnancy declaration, the couple, who allegedly split in July for a short period of time, was spotted shopping for mattresses last Saturday (08.12.07), as well as seen kissing and cuddling while attending Lakers game on Sunday (09.12.07). The pair first met while filming 'Fantastic Four', in which Alba played the leading actress and Warren was the assistant director of the movie.
